After working for nearly a decade as a development editor and sales specialist in the educational publishing industry, I established Ohlinger Publishing Services (OPS) in 1995. I added a new full-service division, Ohlinger Development and Editorial (ODE), in 2016. In 2018, OPS and ODE merged to become Ohlinger Studios, and I partnered with Patrice Jones and Charles Arida to launch Enlight Media.

I come from a long line of entrepreneurs; I grew up working in my father’s restaurant and pizza shop where I learned that flexibility, a willingness to work hard, and a sense of humor are critical to the success of any company. I derived my lifelong interest in education from my mother, a beloved elementary school teacher and then the bookstore manager at two universities. Her dedication to the goals of her schools and, more importantly, her devotion to their students and faculty inspired my own dedication to the delivery of exceptional content for varied audiences across disciplines.
