What inspires you?
I am inspired every day by hardworking people who have integrity and who chase their dreams without the fear of failing. I think it is important to be involved with things you’re passionate about, and I hope that I can one day make an impact on the world by following suit. I am excited to continue working at Ohlinger Studios and learning from this incredible team.
When I started my internship at Ohlinger Studios, I was greeted by a passionate group of people who share a belief in better accessibility to education for all students. Coming from a family of educators, I have always believed in the importance of education. So I am excited to continue developing my skills alongside this group and to learn about education and the publishing and media industries.
As an incoming junior at the University of Louisville, I aspire to earn an Individualized Degree that encompasses all I am passionate about, including marketing, media, writing, communication, humanities, social media, and English. I have found myself enjoying creating and publishing the most in my courses at U of L, as well as researching algorithms and trends in media. I am eager to learn more about my field and what my specific interests are as an Ohlinger Studios Intern.
On campus, I am involved in the service branch of student government, teach dance fitness classes, am a member of the College of Arts and Sciences Council, work as a Student Success Ambassador, serve on the staff of The Cardinal Edge undergraduate research journal, and am on the leadership board for my sorority.
I enjoy watching movies, reading, acting, listening to music, and learning about all things pop culture (especially any and everything about Taylor Swift) in my free time. I have also had a YouTube channel since I was fifteen; it acts as my creative outlet and has ignited much interest in what I am studying in school today and hope to do in my future career.
